Meridian Adds Young Trotting Stallion Neal To Roster
Meridian Farms has acquired Neal (2,1.54.4 $279,823), a four year old son of red hot Credit Winner out of sister to Broadway Hall sire of 2010 Hambletonian Winner Broad Bahn. As a two year old Neal competed successfully against the best trotting colts in North America winning the Bluegrass Stakes, and finishing second in the elimination and final of the Peter Haughton. Neal showed his ability to handle a half mile track in his first lifetime start, a victory in the New York Sires Stakes at Yonkers.
Introductory fee for Neal for the 2012 breeding season is $750 live foal (GST included) with loyalty discount available. Neal joins the proven Northern Bailey in providing Meridian Farms a strong duo for trotting mares in Atlantic Canada. Please click on "Stallions" for more details.
Brandons Cowboy, Camystic - Meridian's One, Two Punch
Brandons Cowboy, who is the leading sire of three year olds in western Canada in 2012 and Camystic who is a top producing son of the great Camluck will stand the 2012 season at Meridian Farms in Milton, Prince Edward Island.
Brandons Cowboy has sired winners of over $2.3 million from three crops of racing age. In 2011 he has sired three year old winners of over $1 million ranking him third in Canada in average earnings per foal of racing age.
Camystic has produced winners of over $1.8 million from three crops of racing age including multiple stakes winners Mystic Maiden p,1.52.2 $235,670 and Campasser p,1.51.1 $197,301.
Both stallions will stand for fees of $750 (live foal includes GST) and foals will be eligible for the Atlantic Sires Stakes and Maritime Breeders.
