2008 Yearlings
This year we are offering our 2008 Meridian yearlings at the Atlantic Classic Sale (www.harnessracingpei.com)on Friday, October 10 in Charlottetown, at the ASHA Yearling Sale (www.asha.ab.ca) on Sunday, October 12 in Edmonton and at the NSPE Select Sale (www.truroraceway.com) on Friday, October 24 in Truro.

Both the Atlantic Classic and ASHA Sale feature the sale of Meridian bred 4H yearlings with proceeds going to promote the involvement of youth in Standardbred breeding and racing.

Up to date sale page pedigrees are available for review by clicking on "Yearlings" and then on the yearling's name.

Our yearlings are available for inspection immediately following the end of our breeding season on July 1. To inspect our yearlings please call Brian Andrew (PEI) 902-368-2612/902-368-2612 or Terry Mcisaac (West) 403-606-1541/403-601-2285 and arrange a farm visit.

Atlantic Classic Yearlings
Meridian Farms will offer 16 yearlings for sale at the Atlantic Classic in Charlottetown, PEI on Friday, October 10, 2008. Featured are two daughters of N Xample including Shadow Me, a sister to the good Maritime mares In Blue and Educated. Our colts include North Shore, a Modern Art first foal from Mission Beach p,1.53.4 $191,433. ASHA Sale Yearlings
At the ASHA Sale on October 12, 2008 we feature the first crops of Camystic and Brandons Cowboy including Wicked Grin, a Camystic brother to 2008 two year old winner Grin A Peg p,2.1.56; Detonator, a Camystic brother to $220,000 winner Duke Is Duke and Do Wah, a Brandons Cowboy brother to $190,000 winner Sister Kae. Also selling is an Allamerican Ingot sister to the $490,000 winner Image Of Jate, a Real Artist full brother to the $200,000 winner Pleasing Artist and a Badlands Hanover brother to stakes winner Somebody Loves Me p,2,1.55.3.

NSPE Select Sale Yearlings
Meridian Farms will offer six yearlings at the NSPE Select Sale on Friday, October 24, 2008 at Truro, Nova Scotia. Our consignment is balanced with two Atlantic sired pacing yearlings including the first foal from the Camluck mare Tiffany Hall, two Atlantic sired trotting yearlings by PJs Nabby including a brother to $100,00 winner Goodbye Daddy and two Ontario sired, Maritime foaled colts.
