Neal is a four-year-old son of super sire Credit Winner - #1 ranked money earning sire in 2011 of three-year-olds and all age trotters in North America. As a two-year-old in 2010, Neal won the Bluegrass Stake, and was second in the elimination and final of the Peter Haughton, International Stallion Stake and William Wellwood elimination. Neal regularly competed against (and defeated) the best of his class, including Manofmanymissions, Broad Bahn, Pastor Stephen, and Leader of The Gang.
A $150,000 yearling purchase at Lexington, Neal is from the immediate maternal family of trotting standouts B Cor Pete 1:53.2 ($893,076), B Cor Timgo ($666,267), Broadway Hall ($583,762) and Tom Cango ($535,271). He one of few Super Bowl sire-line trotting stallions in Canada, and is the only son of the sensational Credit Winner available to Canadian breeders in 2012.
Neal is set to join Meridian, PEI for first his breeding season in 2012. His foals will be eligible to the Atlantic Sires Stakes and Maritime Breeders.
